Sires of Excellence is a
globally active company in the bovine artificial insemination
industry, and aim to be one of the industry's leaders.
They are a fast growing company that provides the services of
quality, proven sires, and promising younger studs. In
order to assist them in tracking the traits of these bulls,
Stone Dragon Software created an application called Sire Master.
Sire Master is a data management and report generating
application that takes proprietary data files from two outside
sources, and combines them into a SQL Server 2005 Express
database. Excalibur Sires then uses Sire Master's report
generating capabilities to create a detailed Excel spreadsheet
based upon a desired bull, multiple bulls, or a multitude of
other possible data combinations. Sire Master acts as a
continuing depository of information on sires and all daughter
animals. It is an intuitive application that is
user-friendly, but is also flexible enough to accommodate
Excalibur Sires' future needs.
